She provides the oh-so-awesome zingers each episode (sometimes at the expense of the other housewives). But Jeana Keough, one of original Orange County "Housewives," says she’s ditching the cameras to focus on work.

The 52-year-old Wisconsin native and one-time Playboy Playmate, found the down real estate market challenging, so she’s saying goodbye to the cat fights (or is it cougar fights?) to focus her attention on short sales and escrow disbursements.  Her exit is highlighted in Thursday’s episode.

I spoke with Jeana over the phone Monday morning. Here’s what she had to say about her departure, what she really thinks of Vicki and … the prospect of another ‘Housewives’ wedding?

Readers of our Show Tracker blog have really been vocal about their disappointment over your departure. What would you like to say to them?

My New Blog!

Hey all,

I would like to introduce you to my new personal blog space! I plan on using this area to share some of my latest events, adventures, thoughts and personal tips outside of the show. Life is always so busy, (especially with three kids like mine!), and it is an ongoing challenge to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which I am still discovering day by day. So I want to use this blog space to motivate myself and others in a positive direction in general. I may vent a little from time to time, but I usually take most things in stride and I just want to have a little personal space of my own outside of Bravo to update whenever I feel like it and post pictures and videos of what is going on in my life for my own memories in the "off-season" as well.



The picture above was taken at The Standard hotel lobby during the taping of the A-List awards. If you have watched my show (The Real Housewives of Orange County), you know that I have been working hard to exercise on regular basis, watch my eating habits and some know that recently I have also become a co-spokesperson for a weight management product called Duzoxin.

I will be the first to say there is no "magic pill" out there to lose weight. Exercise, healthy eating choices, and watching your carb intake is obviously the way to achieve and maintain weight loss. But it sure doesn't hurt in my own case to have the extra boost of a great fat-burner that gives me an extra energy boost before workouts. It also helps curb my appetite better than any other product I have tried. Duzoxin was introduced to me by my friend Vicki Gunvalson, and all I can say is give it a try for yourself if you are interested.

The other reason I decided to start a blog is because my Facebook, MySpace and Bravo spaces are out of control! There are so many messages and emails full of questions that it would take several people working full time to answer all of them. So I hope that by documenting some of the other ways I am maintaining my health and appearance, and maybe share some of my personal favorite recipes here, I can answer everyone at once. Believe me, it is a challenge keeping my highly-athletic family healthy as well, but I have learned a lot over the years...
